I purchased the Timberland waterproof boot for outside work. They appear to be constructed well and are very comfortable. I was concerned about getting the right shoe size, but the fit was perfect. I recommed these boots.

Great work boots !

I found out years ago that with the right pair of insoles , hiking boots are twice as comfortable as work boots ! They are lighter and they can withstand the elements a lot better than work boots !For those people looking for a decent looking , comfortable , durable pair of work boots , the Timberland White Ledge Hiking Boots along with a $15 pair of insoles from Walmart or Target will work great ! The money that you save from buying the boots , $15 for insoles will not be missed !

Leather too soft?

These boots are very comfortable. Wearing them all day will fatigue your feet no more than a pair of high quality kicks. The only problem that I find with them is how soft the leather is that they're constructed of - they easily gouge and scratch. The laces even wear out the tongues. However, were the leather any less soft, the boots would likely be less comfortable.
